Nordic Reindeer

My jewelry is crafted with leather from free roaming Nordic reindeer. Sourced from traditional reindeer husbandry practiced by the indigenous Saami people of northern Scandinavia. This industry is of vital importance to Saami society. Reindeer herding is not simply a question of cattle rearing, but is also the bearer of a long cultural tradition and the Saami identity.
